I graduated from Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec) in March 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Media Arts Graphic Design. I am a Graphic Designer with five years experience working in a variety of in-house Graphic Designer/Mac Operator roles.
​
As a Graphics Prepress Technician at MR Labels & Print my role is varied and focuses on several key aspects. Firstly I focus on doing artwork preflight checks on all jobs and
setting the files up to be print ready artworks. Secondly I create Flexographic plates for prepress artwork or I set files up to be digitally printed and step in to help the digital printer as a back up on a daily basis.

I have worked in a variety of roles, focusing on marketing, branding and print production. I have designed marketing material for both print and digital platforms, including email marketing campaigns, digital assets for websites and social media, product packaging, signage, plate making and digital printing.
​
I am at the stage in my career where I am looking for new challenges and I do have a desire for prepress, digital printing where I can be involved from concept through to the delivery. I believe I am a strong multi-tasker as I have developed a wide variety of skills in my previous roles. I am skilled in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, figma, acrobat and Esko (flexographic printing). I have good communication and organisational skills, which have been influenced by my previous roles. I am a team player who is reliable, trustworthy and interested in working in a fast paced environment. I have an enthusiastic and pro-active approach to work and a passion for producing good quality designs.

As a Graphic Artist for Torpedo7 Housebrand I branded a wide range of products and packaging in collaboration with the Housebrand team.

Examples of the work I created are:

Branding for tools, bike helmets and bike accessories, sleeping bags and mats, tents, travels bags, first aid kits and shoes.
